Jalebi is a fried Indian dessert and strained and served hot or cold.

water - 200ml
yellow food color- 1 pinch
lemon juice-1 tea spoon
For Jalebi
All Purpose Flour - 150g
Curd - 3 Tbsp
Baking Powder - 1/2 tsp
Oil / Ghee - 1 tbsp
Oil/ ghee - fry ke liye

Ingredients
For Sugar Syrup jalebi
Chini / Sugar - 500gwater - 200ml
yellow food color- 1 pinch
lemon juice-1 tea spoon
For Jalebi
All Purpose Flour - 150g
Curd - 3 Tbsp
Baking Powder - 1/2 tsp
Oil / Ghee - 1 tbsp
Oil/ ghee - fry ke liye
Method: -
- To make sugar syrup in a flat sauce pan add sugar & water.
- add yellow food color and lemon juice.
- Let everything come to a boil.
- Once the sugar melts and the liquid reaches one thread consistency switch off the flame.
- Sugar Syrup is ready.
- In another flat sauce pan heat some ghee for frying the Jalebi.
- a large bowl add all purpose flour, curd, hot ghee & water.
- Make a smooth pouring consistency batter. -
- The batter should not be too thick or too thin.
- Add a few drops of food color and mix well.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes. Set aside.
- To shape the jalebi, use an icing bag or piping bag.
- Transfer some batter to the bag. Heat oil in a pan.
- Squeeze the bag and press out spirals of batter into the hot oil.
- one side is cooked, flip and fry the other side. turn lightly crispy.
- Do not overcook. Remove from oil and drop them in sugar syrup.
- Remove after a minute. Enjoy the instant jalebi.
