Ingredients for dosa batter
Rice (chawal) : 3 cup
split black gram lentil ( dhuli Urad dal) : 1 cup flattened rice (poha or chidva) : 1/2 cup
fenugreek seeds (methi dana) : 1 tbsp.
for dosa we need dosa batter salt
very little oil
for potato masala
Potato : 4 (medium size)
Curry leaves : 12-15
Green coriander : 2 tbsp
Onion : 2 (medium size)
Frozen Peas : 2 tbsp
Green chili : 1-2
Ginger : 1 tsp (crushed)
Oil : 2 tbsp
Mustard seeds : 1 tsp
Salt : 1 tsp
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder : 1/2 tsp
Split bengal gram : 1 tsp
Split black gram lentil : 1 tsp
Sambar masala : 1 tbsp

metod
- First of all, we will prepare a batter for the dosa.
- For this, put a vessel of rice, gram dal and urad dal,and fenugreek seeds
- Now clean them thoroughly with two, three times water.
- After cleansing, let them soak water. For at least 5,6 hours.
- Take water out of lentils, rice, after 6 hours.
- add some jar of mixer and add little water and grind a fine and thick batter.
- add salt to taste.
- Now this batter for 8 to 10 hours Keep it for fermented.
- After 8 hours, batter the water accordingly.And as much as to keep it thin or thick, you set it up with water.
potato masala
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and once the mustard seeds splutter, add asafoetida and split black gram and Split bengal gram,
- Once the gram turns a light brown, add curry leaves, green chillies,ginger and onions.
- add a pinch of salt and green peas, mix well and sauté till the onions are golden.
- Lightly mash the potatoes and set aside.
- Once the onions are golden brown, add potatoes, turmeric powder and half the coriander leaves and sambar masala,red chilli powder mix well.
- Sprinkle a little water and mix well, reduce the heat, cover with a lid and cook for two to three minutes
- Transfer into a serving bowl.
- Sprinkle remaining coriander leaves on top
- Heat a flat pan for atleast 3-4 minutes on the flame.
- Take the pan off the flame and spread the batter on the pan using a spoon in a circular motion
- Now put the butter above the dosa. And until golden brown.
- And fill the stuffing of potato spice in it
- Fold the dosa at the edges and flip it over.
- Masala Dosa is ready to serve! Serve it with chutney and sambar and enjoy!


When i make dosa at home, I mostly use Kashish Basmati Rice for making. Because it's healthy and light. for sambhar i get all the stuff from kashish foods
